I am a Mom to a 11 year old Boy, who is such an angel...when he wants to be. I am in my almost mid-thirties.  I am currently working but laid off due to the job being seasonal.  I love my job!  I enjoy scrapbooking and gardening.  I've been doing both now for over 10 years.  I have also been dating my Boyfriend for about 4 years, he has asked me to marry him but it will have to wait....too soon.  Only been divorced since 2000.  Not in a hurry to remarry. I "USED" to work for a HUGE hardware store out in the Lawn and Garden center as a vendor unloading annuals and perennials.    I loved my job, I loved seeing all the new plants and helping out the customers who are just learning how to garden.  In my spare time, which is often.  I have enjoyed taking pictures. I've been doing it for years, just never really wanted to invest in the accessories and a nice camera.  So this year, I decided to buy myself a nice camera.  I had my mind set on buying the Canon Rebel XTi.  But the price stopped me.  I noticed how much the lenses were and holy cow, I don't think so.  So this nice gentlemen at the electronics store showed me the next best thing.  I bought myself a Sony H9, its a point and shoot but it has the option of a very nice zoom.  I surprised myself.  I got some great shots of eagles.   I can buy add'l lenses for my camera if I want.  This is my hobby, will never do professional.  I believe that photos come from the heart.  There are some photographers out there who do a wonderful job and have since taken their hobby to a professional level.  I applaud you.  I just enjoy doing it without the expense.  If there is anything else you want to know about me, feel free to email me at pookee004 [at] gmail.com and I will answer any question you may have.
