U Gotta Be Kiddin Me This is a blog about me, my life and my family!

I mean Cats...our cats really know how to remind us that its time to eat. Every single day at the same exact time! It is my Sons responsibility to feed them in the afternoon and it takes him a few times to understand the importance of having a schedule! I am at a roadblock with my Son, he does not understand the importance of school and I do not know what to do anymore.

I have taken some pain relievers to help ease the pain, going to take a hot bath even though its only 100 some outside and I just spent the last 45 minutes outside. I am going to take a hot bath, it really does relieve the discomfort but what I really wish I had is one of those electric blanket because they are warm and I could have one lay across my stomach. But I simply cannot afford one right now anyways and with living in the desert do I really need one? I would say yes cause I heard it does get cool here and I am anxious to find out. We have been having a abnormal temperatures which means they are really warm.

I hate these times of the month, I hate the feelings of my tummy cramping on me. The only relief is taking a hot bath and relaxing. So I am going to do that cause I know I have a lot of work to get done these next two days. I need to make sure my brain is free and clear of being all crampy!

Last Christmas, I wanted a to do something different with our Christmas tree as we usually do all one color but last year I wanted a multi-color tree to make it more colorful. But that did not happen, so this year I am going to invest in some multi color led christmas lights because I know the LED lights are energy efficient and do not get as hot or warm as the old Christmas lights used too. My Grandma used to have those huge bulbs and I was always scared it would start a fire. But they never did. Speaking of my Grandma, it would of been her 79th Birthday today. Happy Birthday Grandma...I love and miss you so very much!

I have been busy with my classes, helping my Son and taking care of the house. I am a bit stressed lately because of time limits, money and other things that just pop up out of nowhere. So starting this week, I have started a whole new ritual. I focus on my schoolwork, then go onto my Son's schoolwork and go from there.

I would like to update our living room with new furniture but with the layout of the living room we could not purchase a new tv stands or anything like that. Its an open area and I do not like having cords and wires out in the open. I like for it to be hidden from view as it makes the place look so much nicer. I am thinking that we will have to wait a couple of years before we update our furniture because of the cats, or just get them all declawed.

I love this show, but what I really love is how the stars transform themselves into some wonderful dancers! Whats funny is how the NFL football players can actually move and dance. This season I have to say, I am in love with Jennifer Grey because she has been through so much. The very first show when she broke down thinking about Patrick Swayze broke my heart and of course I was a bit teary eyed.

I am getting stressed because I know in the near future we are going to be short of money again. It always happens so I may have to go get a job even a part time one to help with bills. Its going to be tight around here but then again I know if I do my rent will go higher and right now, we are barely surviving. So will definitely think about it and will see where it takes me.

We decided at the last minute to take a weekend trip to San Diego, CA. I have never been to California in my life and I have to say, I am so excited right now to be able to say it was a great weekend in all! I loved being able to see the beach and the crazy traffic! I just can't believe I actually had a good time in San Diego. Loved it!

I know we really need a vacation right now but we live in one of the best places in the United States. But I have been wanting to travel to as many states as I possibly can to experience all that I can. When my Grandmother passed away last October, it taught me to enjoy life to the fullest because we never know what tomorrow may bring. I have heard all kinds of good things about Outer Banks vacation homes and the beauty that comes with it. I have seen some vacation homes on TV from a certain Mom with eight kids staying in this most beautiful home on the beach. I have always wanted to encounter that, but financially I know it is now possible at this very moment. I think though that having your family with you and sharing that quality time together, is what makes memories that last a lifetime. I know when I was a teenager, we stayed in a furnish cabin up in Wisconsin and it was so nice to have everything furnished besides food. I would like to find a place somewhere on the Ocean that has lots of beds, a private pool, a hot tub, a game room and just a place to sit down and relax. I do not think I have ever been on a vacation where I can actually sit down and relax. I have always lived life to serving others and making everyone happy. Hopefully sometime soon in the near future I can finally sit down and enjoy life, and what it offers me. I know if my Grandmother was still alive today, I would make a vacation planned just for her because she has given so much to us as kids that I would like to give back to her. But life had other plans for her which is why I need to learn to live life to the fullest and enjoy!
