Gonna make breakfast!!

Published by under Uncategorized

I've been wanting my fried potatoes for breakfast but I don't want all that fat. I love my Grandma's fried potatoes as she uses peanut oil which I know is better for you. I keep thinking maybe I should get some phentermine just a aid to help me in losing weight but then again I am leery about taking any type of pills. I hate taking advil or tylenol!! I guess I watch too many addiction shows and I am afraid of being addicted to anything!!!

Living on a island, having a earthquake and not having a place to go when your injured? I simply cannot imagine how the people of Haiti are going about this. I see pictures, it tears me apart knowing I am safe and sound in my home. I want to know what I can do, they say they need money...I would like to give more than money..I want to help!!!

We have a new baby!!

Published by under Uncategorized

My Cousin Sara had her baby, a little boy. He's so beautiful. I love to see new life and a new beginning for my Cousin, but she looked so tired after being up for pretty much over 24 hours. She had dark circles under her eyes. I felt so bad. I wish I had some eye cream for dark circles so maybe she could feel better about herself but of course I bought stuff for the baby. I love these certain baby wipes, so I had to get her some too!!

Planning our move..and etc.

Published by under Uncategorized

Last night we were trying to figure out a route to take when we move. We want to avoid Kansas City at all cost. I don't know if that will happen but we are hoping. Because if I am going to be driving, I don't want chaos. I will tend to drive slow and I don't want to get into an accident.

Watching the news!

Published by under Uncategorized

My heart is broken for the people of Haiti. Its sad!!! My heart is broken for the families that need help and hoping that help gets there quickly. I think it is affecting me, as I don't need any of those best diet pills to help me lose any weight. I tend to stress a bit over anything like this and eating, subsides. I feel, if they are not eating then why should I? I know I sound sad and depressed but I am emotional person and have feelings for others.

Losing it all.

Published by under Uncategorized

Right now I am to the point that moving is the only answer. THE ONLY answer. I'm fed up with the weather and most of all fed up with how my Sister is treating my Parents. I know its only one side that I am hearing but from what my Mom is telling me, its not nice and totally disrespectful. And in all honesty? I know its not just my Sister, but when it comes to putting my home down. The place that I am renting, that is NOT a home I own cause if I did things would be different. Its not perfect but at least its a home and a roof over my head. So now...I am making some tough decisions.

Giving it another try.

Published by under Uncategorized

I decided to continue my education when my Son was around the tender age of 2, because I wanted to make sure I was giving him a good future. Little did I know that what was in store for me. Had I known about being able to continue my education online, I would of done that instead. After our move, I am going to finish my education by getting an online degree. I had to make sure that whatever school I chose would have the requirements or courses I wanted. Since I was studying Business Information, I was so excited when I saw that Western Governors University offers those courses. They offer financial aid, which I was able to get before. I qualified for the Pell Grant which is a wonderful opportunity to those who are financially strapped and its all accredited by the US Dept of Education. Which is a major score! And for those of you who are interested in getting their online teaching degree that too is also available. Another bonus to this, is how affordable the courses are. I mean, where else can you go and have your 6 month total basic tuition costs be $2,890 for most courses. Especially when you have the opportunity to finish your courses on your own time and even have the opportunity to finish your courses a lot sooner than regular courses at a local college. On the flip side of this, WGU is a fully accredited online education institution and you will be able to transfer your credits over if you decide that attending a college in person is what you prefer. I enjoy the idea of doing all my courses in the comfort of my own home. I cannot wait til' we are moved where I can finally finish what I started 9 years ago.

I can’t believe its almost time!

Published by under Uncategorized

I am getting nervous but excited at the same time. I am anxious to move out of the deep freeze and into a warmer climate. Its been below freezing here for a couple of days, we haven't had a high temp of over 10 degrees in weeks. But come this Weds...its gonna warm up. Yay, can you say messy? I don't care. I strongly dislike this cold weather. We have been going thru our stuff and getting stuff packed. I can't wait for income tax time where I can reserve our moving truck!!! And get the F out of here!!!
