In that Pioneer Village.
They had a Fountain shoppe, that had real Soda Pop. Not the carbonated machine, they used a spoon to mix the pop. I thought it was neat. They had a little shop there too for Ice Cream which was awesome to see the old fashion machines. They also had a gift shop, but what was surprising was to see modern day items like Amazon books, lotions, apothecary items and other stuff for sale. You would think that places like that would have like post cards, pictures of Buffalo Bill and other old stuff. But no, they didn't. But all in all, it was a cool road trip today.

Taking lots of pics.
Is something I've been doing alot as of lately. I mean, taking pictures of anything and everything. Especially my Son., he doesn't like to smile which is normal for him so I enjoy the pics I do get of him. I would love to share them but I don't feel its safe enough anymore. So for those who have a facebook and whom are my friends/family I will be sharing them on there.

Ha Ha, already got it!
Back in Feb. my Boyfriend bought me the iPod Touch. I simply love it, its the best mp3 player ever!! I love the screen, the ability to have internet and talk with people right on it. Granted I ended up buying some iphone accessories that are compatible with the iPod Touch. Especially for a long road trip, I would definitely want it accessible to my touch while driving and not distract me. I so love my iPod Touch!!!

I didn’t want it to end.
I am enjoying this time with my Son and I don't want it to end. Its so hard to just let him go, even if its for only a month or so. Its so hard. I am going to go nuts while he's gone. Not sure what I will do. Sometimes, I am sure it will be difficult to wake up. I love him so much!!

Last weekend!
Was the local Air Show which was truly an amazing time for me and my family. I have volunteered every year for the past 9 years. I have enjoyed every moment that I have spent there. I have met some amazing people and have seen some amazing sights. My Son's Father first took me to the Air Show before we got married, in fact it was the year 1992. I will never forget it. Because it was also the last time a Harrier Jet was at the air show and after the show was over, on that Monday the Harrier Jet crashed off the runway killing pilot. So it was a bittersweet weekend when we had a Harrier Jet come back. I filmed it all. It was awesome. If you have never seen it. Its a fighter jet that can take off like a helicopter and then fly off like a jet. Its really super neat.
Well this year, I worked the Blue Angels Chalet again. I did it last year too! Since we are moving to another state I knew that I wanted to make my last year here great. So I spoke with the person in charge and she mentioned that I stay for the pilot signing and party. So we did. Little did I know that the pilots who actually fly the Blue Angels would be in attendance and would be socialable with everyone that attended.
It was a somber night for me cause my Son is leaving for AZ in less than two weeks. SO I wanted him to have a awesome time. He got to meet the Pilot of the Number 1 Blue Angel. Commander Greg McWherter ...I have a picture of him with him as well. It meant the world to me for him to have this opportunity to have dinner with the Pilots and to enjoy a special show. I will cherish this moment forever. As my Son just turned 12, he's at that tender age of becoming himself and becoming who he is.

With the storm.
We were pretty much left on our own again. It seems Mother Nature knows when to hit people when they are at their lowest. I don't get paid til' this Friday and when we lost our power it took everything I had to NOT cry. I couldn't even find a candle to light for when it got dark. It was so warm in here it wasn't even funny. But we managed, I lost sleep but definitely gained it back by sleeping in on Monday, totally missing work. Oops.

Wicked Weather around here lately.
We had a bad storm on Thursday, then another one on Friday which took out our power yet again. This time losing all our stuff yet again. Its irritating if you know what I mean. It was a interesting weekend though.

Well…let’s see.
I've been playing this game on Facebook, alot of people don't usually play them games but I started playing it and all of a sudden everyone I know that I showed the game too got addicted to it. There are 34 levels to the game and I am on 30. Not much left to do. But now it seems my memory is bogged down half the time when I go to farms that are large. Oops. I know I don't need any mac memory because it seems most of the players that play the game use a Mac. But I will say. My Name Is Christie...and I am addicted to Farm Town.

Life has been hectic.
That I haven't even had time to update. I don't know why or how I don't have the time. I've been busy working, then spending a couple days away from home as a mini vacation for my Son before he heads to AZ for the summer. Its been rough. I am nervous. I am going to miss him so much.

Pardon Me, you said what?
Some of the people I work with are the most awesome people in the world. One person is a health conscious person and I totally envy her. She won't be doing any diet pill reviews anytime soon. She exercises and eats healthy on a day to day basis. We decided next week we are going to go out or bring a healthy lunch. I may have to go to my fave place and buy the garlic dressing. I so love that stuff!!!!
