Just like clockwork.

Every year our area gets hit with heavy flooding. We are supposed to get some heavy rain starting here real soon. And some more severe weather tomorrow. Our rivers are already overflowing due to the rain we rec'd over the weekend in my area alone we got over 3.02" in a 24 hour period. The last time we got hit like that was July 4, 2007. I remember that day very clearly due to my basement being so badly flooded that it will remain a memory embedded in my head....and heart. I've learned to capture memories in your heart. Even though its nice to have them on paper....in your heart is where they stay forever. We have since moved out of the place that got flooded due to the landlord not replacing the furnace til' after Winter started and it was very cold in that place. So we moved here, and thank goodness it didn't have a basement....but the roof leaks. Why can't I get away from this? Ok now this just makes it all better, the severe weather they are predicting for tomorrow night there is possible tornadic activity because its in the 40s right now and there is a cold front moving in, and we all know what happens there. Well, not much else to complain about I guess...lol. Oh wait, China is threatening war...hmmm. WTF? Why? Isn't there enough chaos in this godforsaken world?

My Brother called me to see if he could stop by with the kids to see the kitties. I said of course. So they stopped by and just loved on our little black kitty. My Niece and Nephew asked all kinds of questions of course. My Nephew is so inquisitive and wants to know everything, and I have to say that's a good thing. My Niece just sits back and takes it all in. She then saw I had a Hannah Montana blanket that I made for my Boyfriends daughter. She really liked it. Like what little girl wouldn't right? They finally had to get going, its just amazing to see how fast they are growing everyday.
