U Gotta Be Kiddin Me

Twice in two days, we have had at least one of our main bridges closed. My BF uses the one bridge that was closed tonight. So I am sure he was late to work. They shut it down at 8:30pm til' about ten minutes ago, bout 9:50pm. I am just thankful because there were about 17 accidents due to black ice. The weather here is so cold that salt isn't working. Salt quits working at a certain temperature. With that being said, we have had extremely cold weather yesterday, today and now tomorrow. Every single school in this area except two schools. Ours was cancelled. And its cancelled for tomorrow. Its been a long time since school has been cancelled due to weather. Granted its nice because of the weather being so bad, don't have to go anywhere. BUT I have a job interview at 9am. That's ok. I am good to go. Did you hear about that plane that landed into the Hudson River? How amazing that they all survived. I am so happy that this turned out a happy ending. It was amazing watching this plane drift down river with people standing on the wings....I would of gotten dizzy...lol. Earlier I had gotten dizzy driving, it was that cold that it made me dizzy but I had a book to return to the library. Gah!!

I decided earlier that I wanted to warm up by taking a hot bath. I know bad idea right? Well I turn the water on, not thinking straight cause its like really cold in the bathroom . Nothing like a wake up call by sittin' on the pot first thing in the morning and freezing your rear end off. So I hop in the tub, and guess what? ITS ICE COLD water and yes I sat in it. Oh my goodness. So I quickly drain it, and run nothing but HOT water. Phew. Thank goodness it was hot. So I went about my business. I honestly need to find some diet pills to help me lose some weight because...I found it difficult to shave my legs tonight. I am not very happy right now about this. So I need to do something.
