U Gotta Be Kiddin Me

So beat me but wanted to share a precious, precious moment between a Father and Daughter. I can't help but enjoy this and the beauty of watching her look up at her Daddy. It so precious!!

While channel surfing, we love learning new recipes and of course when you watch food channels, one of the commercials consisted of Rancilio Silvia expresso makers I think. I can't remember the exact name but the designs they made with the foamy stuff like snowflakes, leaves, and flowers with the white foamy stuff. It was really, really cool. I wish I wasn't so afraid to try a expresso, I think its the jolt of caffeine is what I am afraid of.

I am making a recipe I saw on The Today Show but see I am not making the ham just the potato portion of it. Also got some bacon and I am going to change up the way I am making this by adding scrambled eggs instead of sunny side up. So wish me luck on this...lol

I need to wake my BF up, he fell asleep early so I need to wake him up. I am hungry. And I noticed our tv stand at the bottom is broken on my way to the kitchen. If I remember right it was broken when we purchased it. I saw this recipe on the Today Show and it looks so yummy right now. But I don't think we have potatoes. I know we have onions but I don't think we have potatoes or mushrooms. Gonna go check!

In a couple of days to avoid going outside and braving this ice cold weather. We are definitely moving out of here by spring. The landlord put screen windows in that do not come out so that means no air conditioning in the windows and this house gets so hot its not even funny. And we can't even open the one window so there is no air going thru this place. So we are going to start looking in March to move.

During the night they are absolutely crazy. I hear them running everywhere making all kinds of noises. Its a pain in the butt! This one time they knocked off my table lamp. I was lucky they didn't break it. Right now, Mr.Little man is sitting on my lap watching me type. He is the cutest thing ever. I wish I could share a picture of him with you but they don't turn out well. Well not having my Son I was able to sleep in today but the thing is I am so worried about him because I don't think there is supervision where he's at. So I may call him in a little bit to check on him.

I got on Myspace this morning to see a friend status from Shanna, Travis Barkers Ex Wife/Friend/Baby Mama.  Yes I find her simply amazing beautiful.  Well her friend status actually made my BF tear up so I quoting it because its so very true and it just may get you into the holiday spirit. "One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don't clean it up too quickly!" We all are guilty of wanting to hurry up and clean the mess up, when we should actually enjoy the mess and even better yet. The looks on their faces of pure excitement!!! Enjoy.

Right now I wish I could tap my shoes and go to a far away land that is warm. Its the type of weather that going outside cuts right into your soul. I have not gone outside and I don't have any plans too. Right now I am going to lay down and take a short nap. As my Son isn't coming home til' Friday. So with the Blizzard warning in effect...I am taking a snooze.

And its supposed to get colder. As for the weather we have been getting which is not surprising. I am still convinced the schools should of done something My Son said only half his class was there on Friday. Which I still think the school should of done something for the students that made the effort to attend. But they didn't. Anyhow we had the Boy Scout Christmas party on Weds. night due to the storm from Tuesday Night. The boys had a blast. And the pizza was great. There wasn't enough seating so the leaders were sitting on bar stools and the rest of us had the couches and recliners. Speaking of food, I am starving right now and I need to get motivated because I am going to the Creative Christmas with my BF's ex and the kids. It ought to be a nice night considering no BF will be there..lol.

Every single school in this forsaken city is closed EXCEPT ours. I am very upset about this and I think the superintendent of the schools is going to hear about this from all the parents. The news are telling people to stay home don't go out in this that the roads are dangerous. Just once I would like to hear that they care for the safety of the kids and call off school. Last year they called it off once, cause we got 3 inches of scnow. Ok, we've gotten more than that plus ice/sleet. I guess you can say I am stressing right now.
