U Gotta Be Kiddin Me

Ice Storm, thunder and lightning all in the same sentence? At first my Son goes, Mom I just saw lightning...and I am like No...it was probably...and the thunder hit. I thought it was a transformer blowing. But nooooo Mother Nature decided to throw us a one two punch. With very nice weather today, high of 53...then a sudden drop in temperature and rain of all things. So now, my Son had just came home. His poor Father having to drive in this weather. Oh I feel so bad. Well I went out to show my Son the serpentine belt that broke and I notice that my BF's car was totally iced over. So I scrapped over what I could off and took a towel out to cover the windshield before it got too bad. I may take my camera out and take a picture of the ice hanging off the christmas lights. This is the type of weather that makes me cringed. I put down some salt for preventative measures. I also went ahead and lit some candles...Just in Case.

After yesterday and my Van deciding on going kaput on me yesterday with the serpentine belt melting literally to my air conditioner pulley. After extensive studying of the engine, pulleys and what nots, that is what we have come to conclude is what happened. Something with the air conditioner pulley is cock-eyed and crooked. But see my hands are too fat to fit in that tight little spot, so maybe I should invest in some Anoretix and lose some much needed weight. Right now, my BF and his co-worker are looking at the damage on the van. Let's hope its not anymore serious than what we are hoping.
