What a day.
Our day started waking up late. Then off to Waterloo to spend the day with my BFs parents for their Christmas. We arrive and I notice this awful smell coming from my Van. Not thinking anything of it, we go inside have a nice lasagna dinner. Then got the dishes done and time to open presents. The kids had fun, opened their gifts. I got a Chill Mat for my laptop which keeps my laptop running cool instead of always running hot. And then some Shania perfume. Well after that was done we decide to head back but then the van started making this god awful noise like a grinding noise. Grrr. Not happy by this point. Almost three hours later we made it home when it usually takes about a hour and a half. We pull in and smoke just starts pouring out of the engine area. We pop open the hood and right away see the damage. It seems my Serpentine belt melted to the air conditioner pulley that was all jacked up. So now, I sit here with no vehicle. No money, No nothing whatsoever. I am stuck literally. My Son has no other way of getting to school beside my van. I have never be so stressed til' tonight. I felt my heart racing a hundred miles a minute. As my Son had a doctor appt. on Monday and Scout meeting on Tuesday. I sure hope a miracle happens here soon.
