Wow, what a day.

My day started off early of course, it seems the days you wanna sleep in a certain person seems to make a lot of noise where of course you get woke up. IRRITATING!! Well, I got up and we went to Wally world, picked up a few groceries then back home. Watched the race, texted my Ex to see what time we were meeting for me to get our Son back. Well...let me say. What a trip that was. We were to meet at 5pm, at the gas station in Iowa. I stopped and got me a Mcd's Sweet tea.. Yum. Well, I got back on the road and ready to get on the interstate. And with it being so damn windy today, it has knocked out power to certain areas here in town. So lights were out on the road to the interstate. I got in my turning lane, and I notice the lights were out. My phobia, yes is no lights and people running and hitting people. Well guess what? It happened, right in front of me. I watched this lady just run the lights. I never saw her brake lights come on. And we all know that we stop at intersections when there are no lights, no matter what. Well she didn't. So she was going about 35mph and t-boned the person in the other car. I watched all the stuff in her car come flying to the front of the car. I watched the hood of her car crinkle like a piece of paper, and watched her hit the steering wheel of her car with her face. Its a image that is stuck in my head right now. I called 911 right away, was calm and cool with the operator. Told her there was an accident on the roads, and that ambulance was needed. I can't imagine what her life is like right now besides sore. She hit really hard. And not sure what the other person is, I just remember the car hitting the other car and watching everything that wasn't attached in the car go flying up into the dashboard. Not kidding you on that. Well, after I called I had to call my Mom and tell her how lucky I was, cause if I had not stopped at Mcd's...that would of been me. What's even scarier is I saw this person blocks away before the accident. I have been driving extra careful lately, like driving under the speed limit and being more alert. My Mom came over, we spent some quality time cooking and doing laundry. Its priceless times. Thanks Mom for coming over, and almost falling asleep.
