How can I forget?

I just realized watching the news that Charles Gibson from ABC news was in town all weekend long. He went to Ross’s which is a popular restaurant right off the I74 Bridge. He went to farm and road in a combine, which he’s never done. But I thought it was extremely cool because he spoke of Ross’s Magic Mountain dinner plate. After that he may need a orovo detox because its such a fattening meal. And as the news anchor said, its best eaten at about 2:30 in the morning. I am serious people. From what I was told, I never had one. They are extremely fattening but very delish. Someday, I may make it over there and try one. I just avoid the bridge all together. But to either to get to either Davenport or Bettendorf, IA. Its one of the three bridges to cross but the closest to me. The lanes are very narrow, two lanes each way. But seperated in the middle. I guess its a bridge you have to experience.

Well, I still have some laundry to finish. As my Son needs his sheet for his mattress and here its 10:20pm…OOPS.

I forgot to mention earlier.

All the walking we did. Parking was such a nightmare. I was so not in my comfort zone. I am glad I didn’t drive. I would of had no patience for all the traffic. But Marsha was sure a trooper. The ladies that was with us were talking about not having to use any exercise equipment after yesterday. We walked, and walked. The first time around we had to walk at least two blocks away. It was funny my friend Dawn and I would walk around all the booths, and be done. Waiting. The other two ladies with us, would go into every single booth and look at every single item. They took forever but they got some good buys too. I couldn’t believe that I bought 3 pairs of socks for three dollars either. I wish I had more money I would of bought more socks. I wish I had more money period I saw so much stuff. Rustic stuff as well.

I had a great day.

Yesterday. We went on a road trip, it was my friend Dawn, her Mom, her Mom’s friend and Daughter. We went on the Spoon River Drive. Basically it was a HUGE, HUGE flea markets in all these little towns south of us. We only made it to 4 of the little towns. The first one we went to was cool. I couldn’t believe how many people were there. We got there right at 8:00am they were just opening. And all the crafty places, then we came across one that had baby clothes which kinda surprised me because basically every booth was all crafts. Then there was the boy scout popcorn booth. Nothing like having a boy ask to buy popcorn when my OWN Son is selling popcorn. I think my favorite part of the whole trip was the best ribeye sandwich ever for less five bucks. It was awesome. Then these nachos we split…oh my goodness. I am so in heaven right now thinking about them things. Well today is “get the house cleaned” day. So gotta run.
