I am trying to upload some pictures from our trip to the zoo this past Sunday. I got some great shots of the Eagles out there. grrr. Making me mad.

My job is almost done. I know most people wouldn't want to be done but I do. I love working, but I also enjoy spending time with my Son. He's 11 years old and it seems he's growing in leaps and bounds. He is wanting to be outside more and he wants to go swimming. Oh today was a interesting day. We had tornado warnings and wow. Some have hit north of us. Thank goodness. And what's even more interesting. We are having a Golf Tournament going on, and the MetLife Blimp is in the air. And it kept going back and forth between the storm warnings and tornado warnings. It really looks huge up in the air...but up close. Its not so big.

I really need to focus again on losing my weight that I have gained over the past ten years.  You know its extremely easy to put it on, its taking it off that's a pain in the rear.  I walk alot at work but without the help of diet pills or any type of dieting aid. I don't see my self losing weight. I do need to change my drinking pop thing again. I gave up pop at the beginning of Summer/Spring and when the heat kicked in. I gave up because I was always thirsty, and didn't care what I was drinking. So effective tomorrow. I am going back to drinking tea and water. No more POP, no more lemonade, no more dark colas....nothing that is bad for you. I also need to watch what I eat. I think if I pay more attention to what I eat, instead of being on that SEEFOOD diet then maybe, just maybe a miracle will happen and I will get my cute little figure back...lol.

I love reality TV for some reason.  I can't get enough of it.  Right now, I am watching Celebrity Circus.   Yes.  Yes....Celebrity Circus.  And just now Antonio Sabato Jr.  OMG, he's HOT!!!!!  I loved his performance.  He did a absolutely amazing job.  He gave me chills just watching his performance as it was really hot and steamy between him and his partner.  EXCEPT the part of where his partner really wanted to kiss him....gah....why?  LOL.  Oh and We Man....just cracks me up big time.   But he also did a great job.  As for Stacey Dash, she has been great and I see it as a toss up between Antonio and Stacey. Then what's really funny?  I am a huge Nascar Fan.  And last weekend while the pre-racing was going on.  They had mentioned that Elliot Sadler is now engaged.  OH I WAS MAD!!!  So I have to say...when he hit the wall...I rejoiced...lol.  I know...that's bad to say.  But I yelled out..."HA that's what you get!"  Oh...you should of seen the look on my boyfriends face.  He looked all jealous for about 5 seconds...when I reminded him that the one guy I really like...is MARRIED...lol.    Well anyways...I just got a email from my Cousin Deanna....she just found out she passed her exams for becoming a RN.  I am so proud of her.  She's been in school for like...forever it seems.  But she is a tough woman, and will definitely go far.

In the heat.  See, my laundry room used to be a porch.  So there are no ducts out there for the winter time.  So with that in mind, we keep the door shut at all times anyways.  My Son has a air conditioner in his room, so its cool in there but when you open the door its like...someone turned the heater on.  I don't see cooling that room because there is no insulation whatsoever in there.  I don't want to waste energy. Oh goodness, I see a rough night ahead of me.  The only reason I say that is, I went outside to move the van so my boyfriend could leave and it was lightning.  Ok...that's fine with how warm it is.  I figured it was heat lightning.  Well...boy was I in shock.  I went on the radar and theres a HUGE HUGE storm within a half hour from us.  So not good.  So now, I am about to head into the Sauna...make sure my buckets are empty cause it leaks out there.  I think since my Son is sitting right next to me, he can go help me.   We are watching Miami Animal Police.  Maybe he will be a vet....I would love it. 

Today is My Boyfriend's Birthday.  I surprised him with a Steak Dinner fresh from the grill, a twice baked potato and corn.  Then I bought him a piece of Cheesecake which is his fave dessert.  Then, I got him a small birthday cake.  I also got him this cute birthday card.  Its kinda dirty...lol.  But he got a laugh out of it, so it was perfect.  THEN, I gave him his birthday gift which is a Wahl Color Coded Hair trimmer...which is something he has truly needed for a long, long time.  Its a very nice one too.  He wasn't expecting anything so it was well deserved for him.  On another note, the heat around here is so bad right now.  Our heat index was at 100 today.  I know there are other places that are hotter.  But wow, it happened so fast.  And with our two air conditioners...its not working as well.  So we are in need of another one.  So hopefully, within a couple of days this house will be completely cool.  AND, we will have to insulate the windows just like in the winter time.  Well, right now I am going to go thru all my pictures since I have started taking ONE YEAR AGO.

That's all I am sayin'...just plain tired.  I am ready for a rest.  I need a rest...like yesterday.

The other night, while watching the news they were talking about how GM and their stock plummeted. That is not good news. Maybe they need to hire a futures broker to help them make better decision on their stock. Its amazing how bad the economy is getting. While at the store the other day. You know a Gallon of Milk is the same price as a gallon of gas? Its a tough choice anymore on what is more important. Gee, should I put gas in the van or should I buy Milk for the kids. Hmmm. That's a tough choice. Nutrition is more important to my kids more than anything. I am almost done with my job, so that means being able to save all that money that I spend on gas will be great. Its going to be rough for awhile but I am working on getting my bills all paid with these next two checks. Its something I have to do. I am also going to devote myself to working at home full time.

Last night we went to Grand Mound, IA to watch the fireworks. Well during the show, one of the shell casings exploded on the ground. I thought for sure that someone had gotten hurt. Then we heard sirens, cops and all that good stuff. It was supposed to be a really good show. Ok so it last about a half hour, whoopy. Keep them coming, not every 10 seconds or so. And after that explosion, it pretty much stopped. So we are not sure if anyone got hurt. What's ironic is, in the newspaper today there was a incident in a Iowa town by Des Moines,IA that had a similiar incident. How ironic. Well today has been a very low key day. We had to wash the van from last night, it was a brown color...not my gold color. Gravel roads are icky. Then we had to wait for Term City to come over and look at my Son's bed. The mattress itself is broke. The center support bar is popped out. Ok that should not of happened, its brand new. So they are going to replace the mattress. Thank goodness. So now we are sitting here, watching the race and let me tell you. I got bored listening to TrackPass. So I started playing one of my BigFish Games....and oops. I forgot to turn off RaceBuddy and all of a sudden my computer memory was jumping all over the place. Really slow. So I had to turn that off to play my game. Duh!!! Well, I think I am going to head to bed here. I am tired for some reason.

And to think about it, I really need to start thinking about Christmas shopping. My Son is hooked on our Xbox 360 but his Dad has a PS3 and simply loves it. His Dad bought him a game for his birthday for when he's at his house and of course I bought him the same game for our house. And he is only allowed to play it when his chores are done. He's been helping out alot lately too. I don't know if he realizes that he needs to help out more, but he now just grabs a towel and starts drying the dishes without me asking. How cool is that? I love how he is changing and growing up so fast. It just seems like yesterday he was only a baby. Now he's interested in far more grown up stuff. Like video games and hanging out with friends.
