I really can’t say much.
Life has been so tragic the last two days. Since Thursday Night, seeing that funnel cloud out my back door. I have been traumatized. Going to places and seeing the damage. Just by driving down the road and seeing things ruined from this wicked weather pattern.
And again, right now. We have a isolated storm shower....right over our area. Why oh why? does this keep happening? So many people are displaced right now, its not even funny.
I might sound like a broken record here (do people actually know what a record is now days?? ) but I do understand. Highland, Arkansas, about 5 miles from us was one half wiped out by an EF3 tornado that hit on Feb. 5th this year. My bro-in-law was in a van and the twister picked the van up, spun it around and set it down on a fence..upright. He walked away with a small scratch on his forehead. WOW!
It is frightening. And most of the businesses are not rebuilding. So weird to see the flat places where businesses that we went to…are just not there anymore. Not sure if they will rebuild. Most don’t plan on it apparently. Sad. We live in a such a rural area that really doesn’t have a whole lot anyway. And now they aren’t rebuilding. Sigh.
I pray that your area gets to calm down. My daughter talked about all the snow in the winter and now this. You DO need a rest from it all.
