I needed a sitter today.

For my Son, for the reason of my having to work no matter what. My Ex-Mother in Law is in Georgia with her daughter. Which I knew she was but forgot what the dates were. I had a missed call and her was her number. So I called, she answered but said hold on a sec. So I did, she got back on and told me where she was and that she was waiting for her Johnston and Murphy luggage. She had a choice to take one flight or wait for her luggage to come off the plane she had just gotten off. She gets panicky, as she had a really bad experience a couple years back. She left on a Weds. and was to be back that night. Well 9 states, 9 airports, 9 delays and 1 grouchy Grandma she made it back home on a Saturday. I felt so bad for her, but at least she made it states she’s never seen. Now she only visits in the Summer time…she said it was too risky during the Winter time. Can ya blame her?

I got a magazine the other day.

And I am not too sure why it was sent to me. It has a business opps inside with different companies and testimonials from various people. How they would chose a small business opportunity and now they have new cars, homes and boats. You know all the good stuff that the people have chosen or bought. I don’t consider them lucky but gutsy. To take that chance, spend a little bit to get a return of a ton of money. I will never have that opportunity to even have the extra money, but at least its nice to read how others have taken that chance to better themselves.

I guess the only business I would love to invest in is the gardening business. You realize that so many people want to purchase that ONE special plant or flower. I seen that today at my job. SO many people so little product. I guess I am amazed at how fast our flowers are going out the door with customers.

Its been a long day.

I went to work early this morning just so I could get home early.  I am so worn out.  I have worked 7 days straight.  My feet hurt, my back hurts and now…my wallet hurts.  I got a little spending money yesterday thanks to the stimulus checks.  Well I spent a little money on some flowers.  I really should invest in some really good budgeting software to manage the rest of the money.  I am trying so hard NOT to spend it buts extremely hard.

Just a couple nights ago, my boyfriend decided to cook something in the microwave and guess what happened?  Even though I have told him time and time again, do not cook it to what the packaging actually says, it will burn the food.  Well…ahem..he did.  Why do men NOT listen?  So he basically fried the microwave.  Everytime you cook something it would smell the entire house up.  So we went into together on a new microwave.  Its pretty black.   And a GE.  I love my old GE, and my coffee pot is a GE.  Anyhow…I did my part on spending money back into the economy.
