Almost anything on the ground. Today he found a smelly pencil, it looks like something I seen online for
logo pens awhile back. But it wasn’t. I reminded me of back in the day when my GrandFather had his business and they had tons of pens with the name of their company on them. To this day, I remember seeing them and always taking one home. And their phone number, will forever be embedded in my head. They always said, they wanted their customers to know their number.
Well, it seems things are going ok so far. Right now I am getting frustrated. I have so much to do tomorrow that I am trying to get a few things done. But people and things are cooperating for some reason. I am tired, as I had to run down to where my Son’s Father lives. Such a waste of 2 hours for me.
Its Friday night and I am ready to relax. Its been a long, long week for some reason. We just got home and I hung up some new curtains. We have one window that was bare naked. Just mini blinds so we both bought something different. I bought the curtain rod. A nice one too, and he bought the curtains. Nothing fancy but enough to keep the afternoon sun out. Next month when we get our stimulus checks, I have thought about going to some mortgage lenders and see about possibly finding a house. I do know there are some mortgages available without a downpayment. That would be awesome. I know I should not of bought the curtain rod but at least I could take it with me when we find a house.
I can’t wait til’ tomorrow. Finally a nice Saturday where I can dig in the garage. So excited here.
Back in the day, let me take you back…..let’s say 1988. Yes. I said 88′…um 20 years ago. I was totally into New Kids on the Block. BIG TIME. I followed every move they made back then. Watched MTV constantly just to get a glimpse of these 5 fine men. I learned the moves to the song, The Right Stuff.. yes I sure did. I had a jean jacket that had all the pins of each of the guys. But I had one in particular that stole my heart. His name….Jonathan Rashleigh Knight. I remember his birthdate as November 29, 1968. He had a Sharpei named Wrinkles. He had 5 brothers and sisters, with one of his Brothers as Jordan. He also suffers from panic attacks. I remember watching the Oprah show when he had an attack.
Its not something you want to share with the world. As it took alot for him to go up on stage to speak about his panic attacks. I cried so hard for him because of how hard he was shaking. But anyway, I know I probably sound like a dork but you can’t help it when you grow up listening to a band and they decide to make a comeback. I sure hope they come around here as, the last time they were here. Now please don’t laugh. I could tell you where I was living, what I was doing. When they had came into the Quad Cities to the Iowa Machine Shed as it was during a snowstorm. They ate dinner there and left. That happens to be my fave restaurant too…lol. I really would love to actually see them in concert.
In this picture its Joey, Jonathan, Donnie, Jordan and Danny. And yes, I will say. My Son is named Jonathan but its not because of my crush on Jonathan Knight. But hey…it works right?
