Been so busy.
I went this morning to our favorite(eyes are rolling) discount store to buy some household goods this morning. Just a few needed items, foaming soap...love it. Which by the way spilled all over my bag in the van. Grr. Then of course I needed new razors. I've been using the same one now for 4 months and its pretty bad. So I tossed it this morning...Yay. And a few other much needed items. I couldn't help myself, it was a must need this morning to purchase these items. I am so tired of going without.
So now I've been cleaning, organizing, and I am using the trial version of Word on my laptop to get a few forms printed out. I figure if I am going to do daycare then I need some forms. Print out some sheets with the rules for the kids to read. I think too print out some type of agenda page so I can write what plans are going to happen each day. I have discussed with each of my Sisters if I do watch their kids that there are going to be strict rules. I have one Sister who tends to "forget" the time. So I am going to push it, and the only thing I expect is respect. After all, I am doing them a favor. I will not tolerate any disrespect. So now I have to go hook my laptop up to the printer and get some stuff printed out.
Do you watch Animal Planet? I do and I am watching Animal Precinct, and watching this story of a kitten who's start in life was a sad start. The original owner was doing a project on how long a kitten can survive without food and water. I sure hate that person, he was rescused, brought back to health after his litter mate died. He was adopted almost right away. I love my cats and I can't help but dislike people who abuse their animals.

Just got my movies….Yay.
I ordered I am Legend, Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Dragon Wars. They arrived just today...I am stoked. I've seen I am Legend already awhile back but wanted to see it with a better TV. Other than that we will be watching these in the next couple of days.
Tonight is Cub Scouts. And for some ungodly reason....Aunt Flo is in town and she's being a real pain in the a$$. This is now 2 months in a row she has came to visit. The last one before that was over a year ago. Having PCOS. It does that to you. It causes you to be irregular. Kinda sucks but kinda nice on the other hand. Well time is short, so I gotta go. Busy, busy night...we have a SteamWheeler coming to the Cub Scout meeting.

Spring = Road Construction = Headaches.
Anyone that knows that problem, will understand what I am about to say. Our main road here, called Avenue of the Cities is now under road construction which it happens to be the main way I take my Son to school everyday. Well the detour happens to go on the road of a school I depise because traffic is a night mare. Then it continues right by my Son's school.
Well I would love to meet the brainfart that decided this should be the detour route. Well this morning on my way to school. I notice a car out of place. Obviously an accident. Well on that corner is usually where kids are dropped off and are walking. All this extra traffic has made it extremely dangerous for the kids in my Son's school. I am now a concerned parent. What would of happened if it had been 5 minutes later when the kids are there at that corner and one of them got hit or more ? Do you see my concern now? I am honestly thinking about going to a city council meeting about having the detour changed for the safety of the kids.

The Cats…are fired.
Just found out on Saturday that we have an additional critter living in our house...unwanted I add. We found proof in our silverware drawer. So that meant pulling every thing out and washing it in hot water. The thought of them little critters crawling all over my eating utensils just gives me the eeby jeebies. I do have a rant but will post it later. Its nothing important just something I remembered.

Guess what I am doing?
Besides sitting here watching the race. No idea? Well I am sitting here learning about my camera that I bought back on Feb 2., 2008. I am playing with the ISO, the Aperture setting, the shutter setting. Taking numerous pics of the same item, and adjusting the different settings. I went to the library the other day, and simply enjoyed looking at all the books on photography there. I also went and bought a adapter for my lens. So I can actually purchase a macro lens and filters. There is a certain lens I want, and that's the macro. I simply enjoy playing with my camera. And since I am debating staying home and watching kids, I figure I should get some great shots this summer.
Not much else going on.

Yesterday.
A good friend of mine called me while I was at the new um...discount store asking if I had one of those usb flash drives to save some project too. I told her yep, and that I will get it up to her as soon as possible. I came home, located it and realized I had a bunch of pictures on it, so I took them off and ran up to the library. I stayed up there to see if there were some books on digital photography. I found a couple that were of interest to me. I am wanting to learn more about my camera and how to work it to its full advantage. I am learning more about the ISO and the different speeds in what lighting conditions. And how to use my digital camera for at night like taking the picture of the moon. I couldn't do it with that last eclipse we had. The pictures I took looked terrible.
Did I mention its been super nice these last couple of days, and now that its the weekend. Its cold. Totally bites. The garden show is going on but I am not about to pay to get in there. I am getting anxious about this summer. I am also still trying to figure out the money situation as well. I have a game plan but will have to see how it works.

The other day.
I was in a discussion with my boyfriend about hooking up his video game system to the internet. He was asking me about the different wires and such, so I told him what I had to do for a assignment for my networking class in college. How we had to build our own CAT5e and I am not kidding you. There were some wires we had to do the color coding, slip them into the plug itself. If it wasn't correct, it wouldn't work. Then we would get tested, if it failed. Then we got a big fat F for the class. I totally understand the concept of that because if the business field. Basically the way the teacher explained, if you had a business and the wires were faulty, would you pay for that service? I think its a great teaching concept. If all the teachers had that frame of mind while teaching then the students would either fail or pass.
But on the other hand, my Son has learning issues like I had in school and having that frame of mind would push me to just wanting to give up.

Road trip.
I just took my Son to his Fathers house way out in the country. Fun, Fun...its about an hour trip depending on which way I take. My friend Dawn and her kids road with this time, and we had a blast. I was running behind getting down there. But I didn't really care. We saw a lot of deer, turkeys, buffaloes, llamas and other wild animals. I didn't go bye the golf course this time, I usually do and I probably would of seen a lot of golfers and their Calloway golf clubs. The golf course is so close to the road you see all the golfers and I am always afraid of getting hit by a golf ball or something.
I am wanting to get out and take some pictures tomorrow. But not sure what my boyfriend has on the agenda. Then again I have to look for a book my Son forgot to return to the book mobile. I went to the library and got another library card. Whoot. Got me some books to read.

What a night.
I totally missed all my shows, I had a party to attend with a friend of mine. Ended up spending a little extra money that I earned online. It was nice to buy for myself for once. I totally missed a show that I watch every week, about people well celebrities who are in rehab, not just the alcohol rehab but other types of rehab, like drug, shopping, plastic surgery and all the other good stuff that I unfortunately have missed out on. I guess its a good thing. I have too much on my mind to think about that negative stuff. I think one important thing I need to do is find a job. I am so afraid I am going to lose my van. I love it and couldn't live without it.
I can't believe its already this late at night and I am just getting home. Oh, I forgot to mention I had my CT Scan this morning. Wow...I am not a big fan of enclosed spaces. I have a pretty little bruise from the stuff they injected though. I just hope now they can get to the bottom of my sinus issues.
