On ABC’s Sunday Night? I did, and I have cried so much. The Mom of two girls whose Husband was murdered broke my heart when they wrote notes and let them loose for the Dad/husband to read. Broke my heart. Then the Single Mom of two teenagers who “was” homeless, receive housing and a vehicle. Makes you appreciate life. I was once in that position of being homeless and no vehicle. I brought myself out of that hole, and I can only feel the feelings of that woman. I am glad she got the much needed help. Ok I am still watching it….lol.

Our local rivers are rising and rising quickly. We are talking they have risen 7 feet within the last 6 hours. The people on the river banks are packing their valueables, and making sure their vehicles are on high ground. Its going to get ugly in the next few days. Highways are closed because of serious flooding on the highways.
My Grandparents bridge to their house is somewhere in a corn field, as per my Parents. Its flooding and the water is moving that fast. I just saw on the news brief that the water is flowing so fast the rivers aren’t handling it. See where I live, I have the Rock River on one side and the Mississippi on the other side. I am also worried about my friend Dawn she lives on the bottom of the hill. The river isn’t far from her house. And I am having bad, bad feelings here.
I haven’t been here. Yesterday was my Niece’s competition in Davenport, IA. It turned out to be a all day event and it was worth while to be there. She placed FIRST…go Eastern Iowa All Stars cheerleading!!!!! All teams placed first, how wonderful is that? I am proud of her and all the other girls. There is another one coming up in April, I really want to go but right now financially its not acceptable. But my Sister says I HAVE TO GO, to do my Niece’s hair. I simply love doing hair and I’ve been doing her makeup as well. I think she needs to purchase more eyeshadow because she is out of her pink eye shadow. I am not too fond of how they do their make-up but I guess its the way its set-up. If we do go on April, I will be taking my family, which includes my Son, Boyfriend and his two kids. No sense in NOT including them, even though the boys will go other places or whatever they want to do. If I can find a a good picture from yesterday I will post it, but I didn’t get too many good photos. I had my camera out in the cold and it was acting funny. I remember someone saying that it doesn’t do well in cold temps. I find that true now.
The race is on so I am going to finish watching it here. Its in Las Vegas so yay..NO RAIN delay…lol.
