U Gotta Be Kiddin Me This is a blog about me, my life and my family!

I have to pick my Son up then run over to the other school and get my Niece and Nephew.    I simply cannot wait til' I feel 100% better so I can actually get house cleaned up and better than what it is now.  I've lost all interest, losing sleep, losing time and just want to rest all the time.  If I could lay down now, I would pass out.   But I can't let myself fall asleep, too much to do. As for this stupid weather we are having, its the worst we've had in a long time.  And like every other state who get's snow, we are in a salt crisis.   Meaning the side streets are still packed from a week ago, packed so bad that its like rough riding all over the place.   We've had  41.9 inches total so far this winter and we have MORE tomorrow.  Why oh why?

Why is it that things always happen at the worst times?  Right now, things are looking blah.   I went ahead and bought my Son a Valentines day card to surprise him.   Its cute.  Not too mushy.  We also went and got his hair cut today.  He has always been a good sport in getting his hair cut.  He just sits there.  \ I am trying to figure things out right now, it will all work out.  I am going to finish watching The First 48.  I love this show and I know my Dad watches it too.   

Looks like the old witch is back at her old tricks of dumping her dandruff on us.  It never fails, she always does this right around the time school is to be let out.  PUHlease already.  Where is her magic wand to bring back warm weather.   Well I got a call to go to the school early today.  Not sure what is up but I am about to walk out the door.  Then I have to run and pick up my niece and nephew.  So fun you know?

I've got ten minutes before Extreme Makeover is on, I am totally addicted to this show.  And tonight is extra special because Miley Cyrus is on,  she is every little girl's dream right now and she has one song that I love.  Why?  Because my Niece performed to it for her pageant so now every time I hear it, I think of my Niece dancing. 

I am sitting here watching Britney: Under Siege about her turmoil and all the nightmares following her.  The more convinced she is truly in alot of trouble.  Who in their right mind would start talking a british accent, wear a pink wig and would be happy to be just sitting.   Some of her actions and what she is doing is totally out of whack.  Not sure if its the stress of losing her kids to come this far and become so out of control of her own life.   I honestly don't think she has any control over her actions, I really don't.  And this Sam Lufti person....give me a break dude.  All you want is her money..plain in simple.  There is nothing he can do or say to prove any different.   And her paparazzi boyfriend Adnan....some people will resort to anything for their 15 minutes of fame.  End of story. In the end, I feel bad for Britney and only hope that a change happens soon for her for the sake of them kids.   I could not imagine my Mom doing this to me....I would feel so lost without her.

Long, long day today.  I totally enjoyed today.  Not only did I get to spend priceless time with my Niece, I also learned alot from her.  I think the number one thing I learned, was to smile.  It brings the most calming feeling ever into your soul.   It doesn't matter the situation, my Niece was under the most stress I have ever seen her.  Believe me, I felt it from her.  She looked right at me and said..."Aunt Christie...those butterflies are back!"  I reminded her to imagine everyone in their underwear...and you will get thru it.  She laughs every time.  Even though she didn't place she did amazing.  I have pictures that my Brother in Law took for me.  Being her hostess was one of the best experiences I've ever gotten to experience.  And I of course could not go and take pictures and get her ready at the same time you know?  So he did a good job for me.  I am uploading them as I speak.  So once their up, I will post some.  Before our day started, I took my Niece and my Boyfriend's daughter to get a french manicure.  They totally enjoyed theirselves.  Then she my Niece had her interview.  Went quickly, then we ran to the mall had to get a couple of accessories.  Then we had to run to the pageant.  We got there and got all set up.  She got dressed.  Then it began.  I can honestly say.  I had a blast.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat.  And Mom, I had so much fun.  In my life as a parent I've only had a few great memories.  First off the birth of my Son, then the birthes of all my nieces and nephews.  Then seeing my friend's Alysias baby being born.  Then today, my Niece doing this and seeing this side of the pageant.   These memories, will sit with me forever in my heart.   I think the highlight was when my Dad asked me to tell my Niece good luck and he loves her or something like that.  I went back, she ran up to me and smiled.  As we were walking to our area.   I told her...  "Oh wait...I forgot.  Papa told me to give you something!"  She goes. What? I said, and did the motion that something was in my pocket., I leaned down and gave her a kiss and hug and said.  "Papa says he loves you and good luck!"  The smile was priceless.  You would of had to of been there to see it.   She just loves my Dad so much, and I knew it would make her smile.  And after the pageant was over and she didn't win.  I told her Mamaw is so proud of her and I gave her a big, tight hug and told her it was from Mamaw.  Alright, nuff said.  The Bud Shootout is on, which only means.  ITS RACING TIME!!!!!

They did a rehearsal for the girls tonight, for not being able to watch how it went...I felt lost.  Then my wonderful Sister goes off and leaves me there, doesn't tell me she's leaving.  So here I am going all over like a mad woman and she's gone...lol.  But its done tonight, tomorrow is the big day.  I am nervous.  We ran to walllllmart and bought a few accessories, she has her interview tomorrow at 11:05am at a totally different location from the pageant.  So...we have to get up early.  Take our showers, do her hair.  Run to the nail salon and get her nails french manicured.  Going to take Makayla with and get hers done too.  Figure it would be a nice treat for them both.  Then drop Makayla off, go to her interview.  After that run to the mall and look for a hair clip that sparkles.  I should of had a girl myself...lol.  My Sister should enjoy this, I am sooo much.  Well, its late and we have a busy day tomorrow.  Here are her sparkly shoes....I think I need to clean them up a bit.

A 11 month old boy was found alive from those tornadoes that hit.  Wow, it is truly amazing how life is and how life can change in an instant.  With that being said, it is a good thing to remind your family and kids how much you love them every day.  I sometimes forget.  But I do tell my Son every single day how much I love him. Tomorrow is gonna be a busy day, Mike will be off and he want to run some errands.  He is wanting to buy a new TV, why I ask...why?  But then again I bought my laptop and camera, he should be able to buy something too.  Well, my soap is on...lovin' Days!

Yay, I love the Survivor series/shows.  I guess I am a more of a reality type person.  But tonight on Survivor its 10 die hard fans against 10 celebrity/former players.  And of course Johnny Fairplay is going to be on there.  He's the only one I simply cannot stand.  If anyone ever watched Real World on Mtv, then you would of heard of Puck.  He's the only one I cannot stand on that show as well.  I guess the dirtier you play the more I don't like you.  Just kidding, these two characters were just nasty on the show at the time they were on.  Anyway, then Celebrity Apprentice is on and its looking like the Baldwin brother may be out due to Piers or however you spell his name.  He definitely is a Male Omarosa.  He's a dirty player and because of him my favorite player just up and quit last week.  Well I need to get motivated here, I have some bills to pay today.  And out of my hair.  Paying off one bill, then on my van.  I wish my van was paid off but nope...no luck.   But I am running to the store and buying me a new pair of pants and another shirt.  I want to look nice this weekend for my Niece.  I can't believe tomorrow night is the rehearsal for her pageant.  I won't be able to get pictures because I will be backstage the entire time.   IT SUCKS.  Maybe my Mother will take some pictures for me......
